TL;DR — In short

  • Protection officers holding the French CNAPS professional card, through an accredited partner.
  • Chauffeurs specifically trained for protection assignments, working alongside the officers.
  • Routes, drop-off points and timings prepared before the day.
  • Discretion first: no visible escort unless the situation calls for it.

Two roles, one team

A chauffeur is not a bodyguard, and a bodyguard should not be driving. In France, close protection is a regulated profession: officers must hold a professional card issued by the CNAPS, the national regulator of private security, and work for an authorised company.

We therefore arrange protection officers through an accredited partner, and coordinate them with your chauffeur as a single team. The chauffeur handles the car, the route and the timing; the officer handles your safety on foot, at the door and inside venues.

Our chauffeurs assigned to these missions are trained for this kind of service: working alongside a protection team, planning routes, and handling arrivals and departures with the officer rather than around them.

Preparation before movement

Most of the work happens before the day. Addresses, entrances and exits, drop-off points and alternative routes are prepared in advance, together with the timings of each movement, so that nothing is improvised in front of a building.

Arrivals and departures are the sensitive moments. The car stops where the officer can open the door and walk you in within seconds, and waits where it can leave without manoeuvring.

Discreet by default

For most clients, the right level of protection is the one nobody notices: a well-dressed officer, a car with tinted rear windows, no convoy. A more visible arrangement is possible when the situation requires it, and we discuss it with you and our partner beforehand.

The service suits public figures, executives on sensitive visits, families travelling with children, and anyone attending high-profile events in Paris. It combines naturally with our hourly chauffeur service and with a VIP Meet & Greet on arrival.

Frequently asked.

Is the chauffeur also the bodyguard? +

No. The chauffeur drives and the protection officer protects. Our chauffeurs are trained to work alongside protection teams, but keeping the two roles separate is what makes both effective.

Are the protection officers licensed? +

Yes. In France, close protection requires a professional card issued by the CNAPS. Officers are provided by an accredited partner company.

How far in advance should I book? +

As early as possible, ideally several days before, so that routes and venues can be prepared. Tell us about any urgent request and we will say honestly what can be arranged.

Will the protection be visible? +

By default, no. The service is designed to be discreet. A more visible arrangement can be discussed if the situation requires it.
