TL;DR — In short

  • Half day of four hours or full day of eight, entirely private.
  • Optional licensed guide in English, French, Spanish, Arabic or Mandarin.
  • Unlimited photo stops. The car waits while you take the picture.
  • Skip-the-line entry arranged for the Louvre, the Orsay and the Eiffel Tower.

Not a coach tour

A coach follows a route decided months ago, stops where forty people can be unloaded, and leaves when the schedule says so. A private car does none of that. If the light on the Alexandre III bridge is worth ten minutes, you take ten minutes.

The route is drawn around what you actually want to see. First visit and you want the landmarks in order. Fifth visit and you want Montmartre in the morning, the Marais at lunch and a gallery nobody queues for. Both are the same booking.

With or without a guide

Your chauffeur knows the city and will happily point things out, but a chauffeur is not a guide. Guiding inside French monuments is a licensed profession, and for the Louvre, Versailles or a serious historical itinerary we bring in a licensed guide who meets you at the first stop.

Guides work in English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin. Tell us the language and the interest, art, architecture, food, history, fashion, and we match the person rather than sending whoever is free.

Families and mobility

Paris is punishing on foot for small children and for anyone with limited mobility. A car that follows the itinerary removes the walking between sights while keeping all of the sights.

Child seats are provided at no charge. For wheelchair users we advise on which monuments are genuinely accessible before you book rather than after you arrive.

Two icons worth the detour

The Louvre and the Sacré-Cœur sit at opposite ends of the city and opposite ends of the experience, which is exactly why we route them into the same day rather than treating either as a standalone visit. The museum rewards time and a guide who knows where to walk you first; the basilica rewards timing, since the view over Paris from the steps changes completely between midday and the hour before sunset.

For the Louvre we can arrange a licensed guide and skip-the-line entry, and time the visit for a Wednesday or Friday evening, when the museum stays open until 21:00 and the daytime crowds have largely gone. For Montmartre, we drop as close to the base of the steps as traffic allows and collect from the same point, so the hill is the only walking involved.

Frequently asked.

Is the guide included? +

The chauffeur is included, the licensed guide is an option. We quote both separately so you can decide.

Can we change the route during the day? +

Yes. That is the point of a private car. Nothing is locked once you have started.

Do you handle museum tickets? +

We arrange skip-the-line entry for the major sites where advance booking is possible, and tell you honestly where it is not.

How long should we book? +

Four hours covers the principal landmarks with photo stops. Eight hours allows two or three interiors without rushing.
