The Seine passes almost every monument worth seeing, and from the middle of the river the city finally holds still. We charter a private boat rather than a seat on a shared one, so the deck, the schedule and the music are yours, and the commentary stops whenever you would rather just look.

Departures are arranged from a central pontoon a few minutes from your address. Sunset crossings catch the façades in gold; later departures catch the Eiffel Tower on the hour, when the whole structure breaks into light for five minutes.

Dinner can be served on board, from a light plate to a full seated menu with a chef. Your chauffeur stays with the car for the duration of the cruise and is at the pontoon as you disembark, whether the evening ends there or continues to a restaurant.
